Insurance & funding

Clearer paths to care.

Funding can feel complicated. We help families understand private-pay, out-of-network, and Regional Center options so the next step feels more manageable.

Private pay

Families may pay directly for evaluations, individual therapy, parent coaching, or groups. Contact us for current rates and availability.

Out-of-network benefits

Discovery remains an out-of-network practice. Our billing specialist can check benefits, support courtesy billing when available, and provide superbills.

Letters of agreement

In some cases, an insurance plan may approve a single-case or letter-of-agreement arrangement. Eligibility varies by plan and circumstance.

North Bay Regional Center

Regional Center-funded services.

Eligible children under age three may access Early Start services with an NBRC referral and authorization. Eligible children ages three and older may receive Regional Center funding for social skills, social communication, and peer-training group services when there is an assessed need, a related IPP goal, and prior authorization.

Regional Center is the payer of last resort, so families may need to explore insurance or other funding sources first.
