What we practice
Skills that matter beyond the group room.
Goals are individualized within a shared group experience. Therapists create opportunities for children to communicate, collaborate, repair misunderstandings, navigate emotions, and advocate for what they need.

We don’t teach children to hide who they are. We help them connect, communicate, and advocate as themselves.
Groups are supportive, interest-based, and designed around genuine relationships.

Complete assessment
We get to know the child’s strengths, needs, preferred communication, and group readiness.
Find a match
Children are matched by age, development, communication, goals, interests, and peer compatibility.
Begin together
The group meets on a consistent schedule with support from a qualified clinician. Current scheduling details are shared with families before enrollment.
For a better peer experience: siblings do not attend group sessions together. We create separate opportunities for each child to build independent connections.
Funding options
Open to Regional Center and private-pay families.
Eligible clients ages 3 and older may receive peer-training or social communication group services through North Bay Regional Center with a referral, assessed need, IPP goal, and authorization.
Because Regional Center is the payer of last resort, other available funding sources may need to be explored first. Our team can help clarify the process.
